Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago and worked in theater parts for a number of years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in movies and television shows. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. Anna was later selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also participated in an audio-play podcast called "Numbered days". The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of his life.
