Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Distinguished Professor of psychology and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is a professor at the University of California Davis. Her name is associated with the start of the modern study of children's memory of eyewitnesses and the application of child witnesses when in court. Professor Goodman has published widely with numerous grants, and has received numerous national and international awards. She has advised numerous federal institutions and authorities throughout the world regarding policies and research relating to the care of children who are victims through the justice system. She acts as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a former member of a variety of professional organizations, which include those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
