Swift had taken her inspirations from Shania Twain's music and The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of country music, composed the original songs she wrote to express the feeling of being alienated. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. It gave Swift to spend more time looking for labels to promote the country genre in Nashville.
